Nic was born on September 29, 1989. He has lived in Huntington Beach his entire life. He graduated from Edison High School in Huntington Beach. Nic was an athlete, playing Soccer all 4 years.
He is the oldest of 4 children. Darik, Madison and Chad have always supported Nic in his endeavors.
Currently, Nic is attending Orange Coast College with intentions of transferring to Long Beach State to pursue a Mechanical Engineering Degree.
Nic started out racing BMX bikes at age 5. He raced BMX bikes for two years before he got his first Quarter Midget at age 7. He ran Quarter Midgets for 7 years with many championships. Including 3 Regional Southwest championships, 5 California Monza Championships, 4 Winter National Championships, 2 100 Lapper Championships, and 1 National Championship. After 7 years of racing Quarter Midgets he took a break for two years before getting a Ford Focus Midget. In 2006 he ran a full season in the Dirt Series. After a successful rookie year he ran a full season in both dirt and pavement in 2007. After winning the dirt series championship and running 2nd in the pavement series he planned to move up to a 410 Dirt Sprint Car in the CRA series for 2008. After the 2007 season he was signed to run for Western Speed Racing based out of Fresno, California. In 2008 he won the championship in his rookie year. He also was the highest finishing rookie in points for the 410 CRA series with limited starts and 1 win.Nic has always loves racing and all of the aspects that come with it.
